Our History

The story of Logos Fellowship Church began on Sunday, December 6, 2009, with a clear call from God and a handful of faithful people hungry for the Word and the presence of the Lord. That first gathering marked more than a service; it was the birth of a vision rooted in teaching with clarity, preaching with conviction, and building a spiritual family centered on the Word of God. From December 2009 through June 2010, Logos held services in its first formal setting, laying a strong foundation for what would come. During the following season, from July to November 2010, we embraced a biblical model of fellowship by meeting in homes, just as the early apostles did. These in-home gatherings were intimate, powerful, and deeply relational. They reminded us that the Church was never about a building but about people coming together to grow in faith, share life, and encounter God.

In December 2010, we transitioned into our first rented facility located in the former Spartan Station Shopping Center on East Street in Harrington, Delaware. For nearly five years, from 2010 through August 2015, Logos experienced consistent growth and established its identity as a place where people could be taught, healed, and empowered. Our time there was marked by spiritual momentum, seasons of revival, and the faithful teaching of God’s Word. As we outgrew that space, we moved in August 2015 to a new location inside the Lake Forest South Elementary School Auditorium. This chapter of ministry stretched us logistically but also opened new doors for outreach and visibility in the community. We remained there until May 2018, continuing to serve, worship, and build lives one soul at a time.

From June to October 2018, we rented space at the Hampton Inn Meeting Room in Milford, Delaware. Though this season was short, it proved to be a time of recalibration and perseverance as we navigated new transitions and continued to trust God’s direction. In November 2018, we found a new home in the heart of downtown Harrington at the former Downtown Junction building on Fleming Street. For nearly seven years, from late 2018 until August 2025, Logos Fellowship flourished in this location. It was there that we deepened our worship culture, expanded ministry efforts, and remained a stable presence in the lives of many. However, the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 introduced an unexpected challenge. Like many churches across the world, we shifted into a fully online format for several months. This experience not only tested our adaptability but ultimately revealed the power and reach of digital ministry.

Through each season, whether in a storefront, school auditorium, hotel meeting room, or sanctuary; God remained faithful. He sustained us in times of growth and in moments of pruning. Each transition taught us something new about who we are and who God is. On Sunday, August 10, 2025, we concluded our time at the Fleming Street location and officially embraced our next chapter: becoming an online-first ministry. Beginning on Sunday, August 17, 2025, Logos Fellowship Church launched its fully digital model with scheduled in-person gatherings. Though the format has evolved, the mission remains the same. We are still proclaiming and explaining the Word of God with clarity and power, trusting that the same God who walked us through every season will continue to lead us into the future He has prepared.

This new online-first model is more than a shift in format. It is a strategic step toward the future God has promised us. By reducing the overhead costs that come with renting a physical location each week, we are now positioned to steward our resources with greater intentionality. Every offering, every seed, and every act of generosity is being directed not only toward sustaining ministry but also toward building legacy. Our goal is not to return to a rented space but to purchase and develop a permanent ministry campus that belongs fully to Logos Fellowship Church. This future facility will be more than a building. It will be a place of worship, discipleship, healing, and community impact. It will be the fulfillment of years of faith, sacrifice, and vision.
